Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to StrataDBMS, a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform provided by Rains Park Technology (SA0492248-K).

1. General Policy

All subscription fees paid for the use of the system are non-refundable, except where expressly stated in this policy.

By subscribing to the system, the Client acknowledges and agrees to this Refund Policy.

2. Monthly Subscription Fees

  • Subscription fees are charged on a monthly, prepaid basis.

  • Once a billing cycle has started, no refunds or prorated refunds will be issued for:

    • Partial usage

    • Early termination

    • Unused time

    • Downgrades during the billing period

3. Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will not be issued for, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Failure or decision not to use the system after payment

  • Suspension or termination due to non-payment

  • Violation of Terms & Conditions

  • Internet, hardware, hosting, or third-party service issues

  • Change of JMB/MC committee members or internal management

  • User error or misuse of the system

4. Alternative Remedies (No Cash Refund)

Although cash refunds are not provided, the Provider may, at its sole discretion, offer one of the following in lieu of a refund:

  • Extension of the system expiry date; or

  • Discount or credit to be applied to the next subscription renewal.

Such extensions or discounts:

  • Have no cash value

  • Are non-transferable

  • Cannot be exchanged for cash

  • Must be used within the timeframe specified by the Provider

Granting an extension or discount is considered a goodwill gesture and does not constitute an admission of fault or liability.

5. System Downtime & Maintenance

Temporary service interruptions caused by:

  • Scheduled or emergency maintenance

  • Hosting provider issues

  • Force majeure events

do not qualify for a refund.

Where applicable, the Provider may offer an expiry extension at its discretion.

6. Refund Method

As no cash refunds are provided, no refund will be processed back to the original payment method.

Any approved compensation will be applied only in the form of service extension or renewal discount.

7. Policy Changes

The Provider reserves the right to amend this Refund Policy at any time.

Continued use of the system constitutes acceptance of the updated Refund Policy.
